More Information About Your Study Program and Expert Professors
On Exam FAM-L, you learned the basics of life insurance mathematics; mortality models, insurances, annuities, premiums, and reserves. On ALTAM, we discuss more general long-term insurances. Sometimes insurance covers more than one life. Sometimes the benefit depends on how one died. And there are other long-term products to analyze, such as disability income and long term care. We discuss all of these products, and also discuss pricing and analysis of profit. This manual offers comprehensive coverage of the ALTAM syllabus. Written by renowned ASM author Abraham Weishaus, Ph.D., FSA, CFA, MAAA, this text aims to efficiently prepare you to pass your ALTAM exam.
